People make statements like I don’t want to be like an SU or be that Jesus freak, or they don’t want people to look at them and say this one is a spiritual brother or that one is a spiritual sister.

Even Christians will make fun of you, but you need to understand that you are not like any other person. You have your own private struggles. You know the goal you are after, and because you know the goal you are after, there are a lot of things to drop.

Just like someone working towards certain trophies, they will not live like you. They will wake up earlier, not eat certain foods, and give up some things, basically paying the price because he or she is after something. That is how it should be for you as well.

The devil is after you the same way Jesus is after you. The devil has plans for you the same way Jesus has plans for you. So if you want to fulfill the will of God, you have to put your body under by following to become like Jesus, and to become like Jesus, you are not going to be like the world.

So it’s okay not to watch certain movies, not listen to certain songs, not hang out with certain people, not go to certain places, etc.; it is okay! Set those boundaries!! Also, as you set those boundaries, don’t forget to feed and overfeed your spirit.
