The question isn't what, but why. The heart of any inquiry is the why, the motive.

Dear Growth geng

why do you want to stop your addiction?
Maybe you want to be a good wife to your future husband/wife
or you want to be that good boy/girl your parents think you are,
here is a good one, you want to go to heaven

Don’t get me wrong these reasons are good but they are not rock-solid, they are built on sand and can be taken away from you.
what happens if your parents die or you don’t get married (God forbid)

Your reason for stopping addiction should be solid!
No one should be able to take your “why” from you so that years down the line you don’t fall….
I believe your “why” should be to please God not to get to heaven😬

BUT EMEKA?!!!! Isn’t heaven the goal of the believer?
Nope!
The believer is already a citizen of heaven aligning him/herself with the custom of their kingdom…
Being all God has called you to be should be your why(God ain’t going anywhere)
